Welcome to my new site!  I’m excited to begin the blogging journey – and sharing it with you!

I chose the title “Lucyvoce” because voce, in Italian, means “voice.”  I have come to discover that, through the everyday trials of life, motherhood, work, etc. my voice, Lucy’s voice got put aside for awhile, and then misplaced, then lost.  I used Italian because (believe it or not!) my mother is a dark-skinned 1/2 Italian woman.  I take after my Norwegian father, but I didn’t like the Norwegian word for voice (stemme) as much :-).
